Ease of operation is the most essential factor in the operation of a small precision lathe. To accomplish this all control functions of the Headstock Spindle are within range of the finger tips in the area shown above.

This provides quick response for:

• Reversals
• High-Low Speed Range
• Push Button Control of Infinitely Variable Speeds

The infinitely variable speeds are obtained by a push button operated servomechanism controlling variable pitch pulleys. A graduated dial indicates the speed obtained. The high torque Timing Belt driving the Spindle assures constant 2 HP over the entire range.
