ELECTRIC CLUTCH DRIVE (#94 or 98)

The Wade Electric clutch drive is superior in quality, speed and performance. A standard 2HP, dual voltage, constant speed motor runs continuously in one direction. 4 separate electric clutches handle each key function, i.e. High Speed, Low Speed, Brake and Reverse. Motor is never strained due to fast stopping or reversing and delivers High Speed torque at 3 ft. lbs. and Low Speed torque at 60 ft. lbs. Other important features as follows:

• 5:1 High-Low spindle speeds
• Reverse speed is one-half high forward
• 1/4 Second Stopping
  • example: Turning at 3500 RPM shifts to threading at 700 RPM in 1/4 sec., then shifts to reverse at 1750 RPM to back out die in 1/4 sec.
• Single Handle selects High Speed, Low Speed, Brake, Reverse, Neutral
